Work Based Learning Experience
Students, as part of their academic curriculum, are allowed to perform a Work Based Learning Experience, provided they are in good academic standing, are meeting course content, have no citizenship or attendance issues, and have teacher recommendations. Before a student can participate, a Training Agreement and a Training Plan must be on file with the Placement Office in Student Services.
Time Cards are due by the end of the day every Friday, and should be emailed to Mr. Martel
in Student Services, as well as the student’s teacher. This is a requirement for all students participating in a Work Based Learning Experience. In addition, upon completion of a Work Based Learning Experience, an evaluation form is to be filled out by the student’s site supervisor and reviewed with the student. Evaluation forms should also be emailed to Mr. Martel in Student Services, as well as the student’s teacher.
Students find your Work Based Learning Time Cards and Preliminary Hours Reports here.
