The Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) is seeking highly motivated and talented people who love working with kids! Our current focus is on these priority vacancies: After-School and Student Support Positions, Early Childhood Career Opportunities, Opportunities for Retirees, Para-Educators, Special Education Teaching and Support Positions, Substitute Positions, and Transportation Positions.
Our staff members are employed through GISD and Genesee Education Consultant Services (GECS) and work together to provide programs and services to Genesee County students, parents, and educators. Together, we are a team that carries out GISD’s mission of leadership, service, and innovation!
The Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium was formed to offer candidates a single place to find and apply for a position in multiple districts.
Internal Applicants
Internal applicants must be employed by the Genesee Intermediate School District in a bargaining unit position to apply as internal applicants. Part-time employees, guest teachers, and contract employees are not considered internal applicants and must apply as external candidates.
