Early Childhood Programs and Services

Early Childhood Programs and Services (ECPS) supports all local districts in Genesee County by providing special education programs and services to children from birth through age seven.

Elmer A. Knopf Learning Center (EKLC) is a center-based school for students identified as Moderately Cognitively Impaired (MoCI) and Autistic (ASD).

Marion D. Crouse Instructional Center

Genesee Intermediate School District’s Marion D. Crouse Instructional Center (MCIC) is a year-round, center based school for students identified with severe cognitive and severe multiple impairments (SCI and SXI).

Transition Center

Genesee Intermediate School District's (GISD) Transition Center is an extended academic year program for students with moderate cognitive impairments.

Genesee Career Institute

The Genesee Career Institute (GCI) provides instruction and experiential learning in many career areas that help prepare Genesee County students for immediate entry into the workforce.

Genesee County Career Technical Education Early Middle College

The Genesee County Career Technical Education Early Middle College (GCCTEEMC) provides a unique opportunity for students to explore and earn an associate’s degree, credentials, or transferable credit in a CTE Career Pathway while in high school.

Genesee Early College (GEC) is an intensive, state-of-the-art, five-year school combining the best elements of the high school and early university experience.

Mott Middle College

Mott Middle College high school is a general education program on the campus of Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan. Mott Middle College specializes in overlapping an Associates Degree with a general education high school diploma.
